Beverly Drage

Beverly Ann Drage, age 77 of Maumee, OH, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family on November 12, 2021. She was born to Edward and Margaret (Baloga) Lindquist on November 20, 1943 in Cleveland. It was there that she graduated from Euclid High School and Fenn College where she earned her Associate Degree in Accounting. Beverly married the love of her life, John Drage, on November 14, 1964 and together they raised 3 children. She was the owner of Flowers by B.D. where she enjoyed "sneaking downstairs" in their home to create beautiful flower arrangements for many years. She was very active in her church, St. Joseph Church in Maumee, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and loved to participate in multidenominational Bible studies. Beverly was always encouraging to people by sharing the Gospel. She loved being the hands and feet of Jesus by visiting neighbors, bringing banana bread or warm meal and a smile even in her very last days. She never met a stranger and loved to talk and pray with anyone she encountered. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Jay. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John; daughter-in-law, Amy Drage; son, Chris (Jené); daughter, Lisa (Benny) Soto; grandchildren, Josh (Emily) Drage, Jessie (Zac) Siems, Dana (Avery) Abraham, Caleb (Reneé) Drage, Callie (Jamey) Burson, Than (Hannah) Drage, Alyssa Soto and Eli Soto; great-grandchildren, David, Zion; best friend, sister and partner-in-crime, Nancy (Donald) Uchtmann, and several nieces and nephews. She treasured her title as Mom and Grandma and loved extending her family to include, Eric (Diane) Hall and family. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Thursday, November 18th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19th beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church (Maumee) at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Joseph Church, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research, or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
