Carol Ann Cousino

Carol Williams Moritz Cousino Carol was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on July 31, 1945, and passed away peacefully on September 9, 2018. She was the second child of James and Dorothy (Price) Williams. Carol grew up in Oak Harbor and graduated from Oak Harbor High School where she made many long life friends. She played Clarinet in the band. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Forrest Cousino; her brother Ron and his wife Linda Williams and their two children Scott and Holly. Carol has two children Aron and Kelly Moritz, grandchildren Sean, Cassidy and Wilson, and a great granddaughter Aleah. Carol always felt her greatest calling was to be a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, cooking and gardening. She preferred books to watching TV unless it was to watch a game of one of her favorite teams, the Steelers or Portland Trailblazers. Carol loved to travel with her family and she shared dream vacations across the country that will forever be happy memories for her travel companions. She loved the Lord, her church and her bible study group. She created many close friendships with neighbors and those in her crafting, bible and exercise groups. Carol’s last weeks and days were spent at home in Hospice care and with family, friends and her daughter at her side. This brought her great peace and comfort. Carol prayed every day for her family and always put others’ needs ahead of her own. Her words and letters were caring and well thought out. She did not enjoy attention but was able to provide support and compassion to those in need. Carol leaves behind a legacy as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and always loyal friend. Carol was a gift to all who knew her and she will be cherished and celebrated forever in the hearts of those her life touched. Friends may visit on Thursday, September 13 at Cedar Creek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 from 10:00 a.m. until the Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private at Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Memorials may be made in Carol’s memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Coyle Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
