Marvin H. Angell

Marvin Henry Angell, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 80. Born on October 24, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, Marvin lived a life full of laughter, love, and a little bit of mischief. Marvin was a devout Catholic who cherished his faith and family above all else. He grew up in Toledo, where he graduated from Woodward High School and began his early career as a Teamster in the Trucking Industry. After relocating to Las Vegas, Marvin dedicated his professional life to the Printing Industry, where he expertly handled accounting duties for SKIPCO then at Advanced Imaging Solutions until his well-deserved retirement in 2023. Marvin had a quick wit and a humor that kept everyone around him on their toes. He had a unique way of lightening any mood with a cleverly timed comment or a playful grin. His love for his dogs was only rivalled by the love he had for his family. Though he didn't have children of his own, Marvin was a father figure to many, offering wisdom, guidance, and plenty of laughs to those fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his brother, Richard Leo Angell; his sister, Mary Ann Angell-Harouff; and his cherished nephews and niece: Gary Leo Harouff, Ken Harouff, Jon Angell, Matthew Angell, Michael Angell, Paul Angell, and Carmel Guidry. Marvin was also adored by his great nephews and nieces: Bronson Harouff, Gabriel Harouff, Colton Harouff, Albert Moran, Greggory Moran, Simeon Brown, Alexandra Harouff, Evelynrose Harouff, Hadassah Brown, Samantha Moran, and Bernadette Harouff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen Rose Gembreska-Angell and Elbert Angell. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. all taking place on Friday, August 30, 2024, at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613. Following the Mass at 12:30 p.m., Marvin will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 2224 Dorr Street, Toledo, Ohio 43607. The family extends their deepest gratitude to James Rivera, Jordyn Rivera, and Josiah Rivera for the endless care and love they provided Marvin over the last 20 years. Their unwavering support and companionship meant the world to him, forming a bond that will never be forgotten. Marvin was cherished by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
