Mary Lee Morgan

Mary Lee Morgan, age 67 of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Grant and Eileen (Piornack) Christ on July 25, 1942. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Ursula Academy and then went onto to marry her best friend Rollen Morgan on May 17, 1969 and together they raised two children. She was a stay at home mother for many years before entering the work force. Mary Lee spent her career working for Owens Corning, holding various positions, retiring in 2006. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a Cub Scout Leader and was very involved in all of her children's activities, also a committed supporter to her husband who is a longtime member of the Toledo Elks BPOE #53. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren especially during the Christmas Holiday season and family celebrations. She also took great pride in spending every quality minute that she could with her two grandchildren who referred to her as "Munga". Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rollen; son, Michael (Cathy); daughter, Molly; grandchildren, Emily and Hannah; step-granddaughter, Hannah; sister, Jolene (Richard) Clement; nephew, Christopher ( Amy) Clement and niece, Amy (Ian) Byrne; especially great-nephew, Crew; great-nieces, Kennedy and Delaney; many other nieces and nephews and 3 sisters-in-law. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday beginning at 11 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Ralston, Joan Kaminski and Jane Empey for their compassionate care and friendship. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Your gentle face and patient smile, With sadness we recall. You had a kindly word for each And died beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart That loved us well and true. Ah, bitter was the trial to part From one so good as you.
