Myrna Bosch

Myrna Gaye Bosch, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at her home in the company of her two sons. She was 85. Myrna was born on September 16, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of Walter and Esther Ducket. She attended DeVilbiss High School, graduating in 1954. Myrna had a successful career in real estate spanning three decades with the Melle and Danberry companies. Myrna and her loving husband of 59 years, Daniel Francis Bosch, had two sons, Greg and Dan. Myrna is preceded in death by her husband, Dan, and her parents. She is survived by her son Greg (Kathy), and Dan (Mehrnaz). Myrna was loved as "Nana" by her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Connor, Mackenzie, Annie and Maysa Bosch. She knew how to dress to the nines, decorate a home, and host a party. She ruled the roost whether at home or the real estate office with her colleagues. "Myrna" was known on a first name basis across Toledo and even in their favorite spot, St. Augustine, FL. Mom was also resilient and strong battling emphysema, breast cancer twice, and ultimately dementia over the years. She loved to laugh endlessly and had an endearingly snarky sense of humor which surely kept her going well beyond when the dementia should have taken her. Dan and Greg were truly blessed with two great parents. Mom was a force to be reckoned with and she always put her boys first. In her eyes we could do no wrong - - even when we were! She was our biggest cheerleader and advocate. It was her unwavering support combined with tireless love which gave us the encouragement and confidence to dream big and stretch to new heights. Her love extended to embrace her daughters-in-law, Kathy and Mehrnaz, becoming in many regards their second mom. Mom taught us how to enjoy the simple pleasures of enjoying family and friends and showed us that laughter is great medicine. For her grandchildren, Nana walked on water with endless hugs, love and laughs as well as her repertoire of funny sayings. Mom, these words do not begin to express how much we love you and how thankful we are for the life you lived, full of love and laughter. We will miss you beyond belief. Family and friends may join us for a Celebration of Life which will be held at her home, 2069 Heatherwood Dr, on Saturday, Sept 24th, 4-7 p.m. A private burial service will follow on Monday at Toledo Memorial Park.
