I met Oleva at Lunched With Luther at Hope.She was indeed "a true and faithful servant".of the Lord.I was blessed to have known her.

I met Oleva when I joined the choir at Hope Lutheran. We sat next to each other and shared many laughs. (It was a fun choir, full of characters.) We also sang a Vivaldi duet at Christmas that year. The next year, she retired from the choir since she was having increased difficulty with breath support due to her physical challenges. She half-joked (with that twinkle in her eyes) that she had stayed in the choir until she found a replacement. I did my best, but no one could replace her beautiful voice.
