Robert (Bob) L. Homier died Friday, June 10, 2016. Robert was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 25, 1945 to Lloyd and Marilyn (Junkins) Homier. Robert was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He received his master’s degree in accounting at the University of Toledo. Robert served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an accountant for numerous companies in Toledo, Ohio. Robert was a professor at the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, and Owen’s Community College where he taught accounting. He was also the owner of American Graphics and Screen Printing. Robert was a past commander of the American Legion Holland Post 646. He was a Coordinator of the Joint Apprenticeship Training Center. Robert was very involved in youth hockey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon (Kulczak) Homier, sons Scott (Sheri Beard), Todd (Jen) Homier, granddaughters Kayleigh (Justin) Stokes, Phoebe Potter, great-granddaughters Jordyn and Jayleigh Stokes, siblings James (Sandy) Homier, Pat (Dennis) Guhl, Steve Homier, Cathy (Tom) Bender, Debbie (Jim) Dutridge, Sheri (Rick) Dutridge, brother in law Ronald (Carol) Kulczak, sister in law Pat Hendrix, and many nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at The American Legion Holland Post 646, 1074 Clarion Avenue, Holland, Ohio 43528.
