Go Rest High On That Mountain Your Work Here Is Done Tom was born on July 5, 1944 and the angels came and wrapped their arms around him and said, come with me, on June 2, 2014 at 2:57 a.m. at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania Ohio. Tom work for LOF for 30 years retiring in 1995. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Tom and his wit will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mary (Walsh) Cumpston; brothers Melvin, and William Cumpston; niece Tracy Cumpston and great granddaughter Paisley Marie Litten. Tom will be deeply missed by all his family; he is survived by his loving wife and best friend Jane (Gaines) Cumpston who he married on January 21, 1993; daughter Kim Smith; granddaughters Ashley Smith, Autumn Poulson; step-daughters Dawn Wheeler, Tammy Lumbrezer and Lisa (Tim) Getzen, Stepchildren Dennis and Jeff Laurell, Sandy and Bonnie Steck and Gary and James Dillingham. Also surviving are his step-grandchildren Erika Wheeler, Jamie Litten, Sara Perry, Kristina (Ryan) Hufford, Kasi (Travis) Hintz, Ashley (Travis) Thatcher, Kim (Jon) Grimes, T.J. (Brittney) Getzen; great-grandchildren Tyler, Landon, Luke, Seth, Jonathan, Aiden, Blake, Bryson, Garrett, Even, Kenton, Macy, Miranda, Aubriana, Bristol and Allie. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd; on Thursday June 5, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 pm. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 14, 2014 at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
