Patricia Roshak

Patricia (Patti) Ann Roshak, age 59 of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family who cherished her, on September 13, 2024. She was born to Arthur and Alois Pollauf on January 9, 1965. She was a graduate of Gesu Catholic grade school and Notre Dame Academy high school. Patti married the love of her life Ken Roshak at Gesu Catholic Church on April 8, 1989. Together they raised three beautiful, caring children, and shared 41 amazing years together since meeting in 1983. Our family was gifted with two adorable grandchildren who lit up Patti's life. Patti loved kids, so right out of high school she started a home daycare where she loved and cared for several of our friend's children and others she cherished so much. She also loved office work and held jobs with various companies in the Toledo area. Most recently she was employed at Lucas County Job & Family services. Her greatest pride and joy was being a wife, mother, and grandma. In her spare time, Patti loved crafting from sewing, cross-stitching, to quilting. Aside from crafting, she loved being in the kitchen, cooking and baking so many delicious dishes and treats for her family, all while listening and dancing to some of her favorite tunes from Kenny Rogers and Celine Dion. Like her father, Patti enjoyed watching a good old Western, or John Wayne movie. She also loved watching reruns of The Waltons TV show and always had one, or more, of her beloved cats in her lap. Patti loved our family vacations to the ocean and to Amish Country, and to various destinations with her brother Dave and sister in law Fran. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Barb, brother in law Dan Dennis, and brother Gary Pollauf. She is survived by her husband Ken, children Nathan (Jessica), Lauren, and Jason Roshak. Grand-children Mason and Annabeth Roshak. Her siblings, Jim (Vicki) Pollauf, Dave (Fran) Pollauf, sister-in-law Nancy Pollauf and many nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends, co-workers, who will all miss Patti dearly. Friends may visit at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Gesu Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd., Toledo, Ohio, with Visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Promedica Toledo Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital for the amazing care they provided.
