Anthony L. Rodriguez

Rodriguez Anthony "Tony" Anthony Rodriguez passed away suddenly on February 22, 2017 at his home in Maumee, Ohio. Tony was born on February 16th, 1948 in Toledo the son of Alfred and Margaret (Runyon) Rodriguez. A resident of Ohio all of his life, he attended Central Catholic High School and enjoyed a successful career of forty years as a Sale Representative for Baron Drawn Steel Corporation. He is survived by his fiancée, Mary Ann Denhof, his daughter Rochelle (Michael Zoltanski), son Benjamin (Paul) and stepsons Brett (Wendy) and John (Leslie) Sarver. He was a loving grandfather to Tonia Morris, Seth and Taylor Zoltanski, Colin and Keira Sarver. Tony was also a proud great grandfather to Anthony, Ella and Benjamin. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Dennis, Richard, John, Carl, MaryJane LaBonte, Margaret Thompson, Gregory and Alicia Koepplinger. He and his giving spirit will be sorely missed by all those who survive him. He was predeceased by his parents and Joanne Rodriguez, wife of 32 years. Tony was a genuine patriot of our United States; while missing out on serving his country in the armed forces, he truly supported our military brothers and sisters. Tony was an active, longtime and respected member of Brandywine Country Club and previously of the Vulture Club. He was a zealous golfer and especially loved to gloat when he undershot par against his "rival" brothers. He enjoyed friendly games of gin weekly with his close friend, Dr. Ken Endicott and other Brandywine friends. He loved to travel to Canada, Mexico and other points south for work, pleasure and golf. He enjoyed detailed carpentry, collecting stamps and coins and doing challenging crossword puzzles. He had a congenial sense of humor and would do anything to help a person in a moment's notice. Tony's zest and love for life will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Sunday, February 26th at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
