Peace and comfort for your heartrevolving_hearts

Sue, I am saddened to learn of your loss. Shaf was a brilliant surgeon and very dedicated to our babies in the NICU. I have great respect for him as a surgeon and as a person. I learned a great deal working with him in the NICU. I also loved his sense of adventure and enjoyed hearing about your travels all over the world. Take care my friend, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Jackie Howe

Sue, Mike & I are saddened that you have lost the love of your life, but we know what wonderful memories you have from the great adventure your lives were together. Shaf was an incredible talent in the OR, and a true advocate for his patients. He had a sincere compassion for NICU babies and families, and the high standards he set were appreciated by all. I also remember his kindness away from work - how he enjoyed taking us to lunch, and even encouraging us to have our girls' fellowship time. I am thinking of you, and praying for peace and strength during this difficult time. Love & miss you, my friend.

Sue, my deepest condolences to you at Shaf’s passing. I have so enjoyed getting to know the two of your over the past couple of years. Thank you for making the GTCF the recipient of donations in his memory. Bridget Brell Holt

Sue, you and Shaf were so much more than colleagues. You were part of my NICU family. Katelyn still has the dolls you brought her from your world travels! Calling you both friends was such a privilege. My thoughts are with you during this time. I’m sending you love Sue and may Shaf rest in peace.

Sue I can’t tell you how much respect and awe I had for Shaf!! He truly cared about our NICU babies!
I am so happy you were able to enjoy traveling and he was able to do what he found so much joy in.
