Timothy R. Fuller

Timothy "Tim" Robert Fuller passed away peacefully with his three children by his side on January 23, 2024. He was born on October 2, 1967 to Orville Sr. and Helen (Reed) Fuller. He was the youngest of five children and they grew up in South Toledo to which he loved. He loved to say he went to Harvard but would fail to mention it was Harvard Elementary. He graduated from E.L. Bowsher High School in 1986 where he was nicknamed "Fly". He attended the University of Toledo. He played football in high school and lacrosse in college. His high school and college friends are a special gigantic group. They had the best times and have some of the craziest stories known to man. In the beginning of his career, he worked the night shift at Medical College of Ohio. However, with his love of talking to people and his charisma, it became the perfect mix for being in sales. He worked in sales and managed sales teams most of his professional career. He received numerous awards for his accomplishments over the years. He most recently was employed with Fisher Barton where he was a Sales Manager. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and Maumee Elks for several years. He also was a member of the YMCA where he enjoyed to swim. He had the most friends anyone could ever have. We couldn't go anywhere without him knowing someone. He lived for his people whether you were his family, friend, or even stranger, he would go to the end of the Earth for you. He just had this aurora about him that made you feel safe. He was a giant teddy bear. He had the goofiest personality and would literally light up a room. He loved to joke around and make people laugh. He loved to tell stories and on occasion would fabricate them. You knew this because his favorite expression was "I swear to Holy God" if he was telling a doozy. He loved going on vacation with his family. In more recent years they were named the Fuller Fam Jam. He loved to hang out with his family, cook, swim, listen to live music, travel, watch movies, and he truly loved being a Dad and Papa. Tim loved his family more than anything though. He always took care of his older brothers. He shared a very special bond with his only sister. This most recent year he became a Papa. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Abigail. They were two peas in a pod. Since he was recovering from his most recent health issue, he became Nanny Papa. These two spent a lot of time together this past year doing puppet shows, singing songs, reading books, and taking naps together. His children were the light of his life. He always made sure they were taken care of. He knew all their friends and became a second Dad to some. He was always supporting his kids in anything they were involved in with his big ole smile. He truly was the best Dad we could have ever been blessed with. We will miss him until the end of time. He and Jackie remained best friends and enjoyed their time with the kids and more recently their granddaughter. He was no stranger to health struggles the past few years. He had congestive heart failure in 2016, but his heart completely repaired itself. He was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in July 2022. He had a bone marrow transplant in November that same year and handled it like a champ. He was officially cancer free as of February 2023. These are a true testament as to how he was a true fighter and warrior. However, most recently, he contracted Graft vs. Host Disease in his liver which is a complication from the bone marrow transplant. He put up the biggest fight these last couple of weeks. We would like to thank Dad's team of doctors and nurses at Cleveland Clinic for the exceptional care he received. He is survived by the mother of his children; Jackie Fuller, children Alex (Joe) King, Nick Fuller, and Maddie Fuller; granddaughter, Abigail King; siblings Kathy (Rick) Zibbel, Bud Fuller, and Kevin Fuller; nieces & nephews Laura (Brad) Hollo and Rick (Sarah) Zibbel; great nieces and nephews, Haley, Scout, Nolan, Beckham, Anna, and Luke. He is also survived by Dorothy Stark, Tom McGurk, Lori Spies, Kathy (Monte Zarrick) Stark, Bob Stark Jr., Matt (Jen) Spies, Chris (Rana) Spies, Missy (Spencer) Patalano, Lorri Stark, Joe (Kristi) Zuccarell, Steve Zuccarell, Joey Zuccarell, and Lorisa Zuccarell. He is preceded in his death by his parents Orville Sr. and Helen Fuller, brother Randy Fuller, niece, Becky Zibbel, sister-in-law Rosa Fuller, and father-in-law Bob Stark. Friends and family may gather at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:00 -7:00 PM with a prayer service and storytelling starting at 6:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH. The burial will be immediately follow at Toledo Memorial Park, 6383 Monroe St. Sylvania, OH.
